FOSA pushes for smart tech integration

The Fiber Optic Sensing Association, the US’ leading organization association focused on fiber optic sensing, was one of 11 signatories of a letter requesting congress incorporate smart technologies in order to improve and transform infrastructure around the country. The letter, addressed to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell, Democratic Senate Leader Chuck Schumer and House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, argued “by leveraging technology in the design, construction, and operation of infrastructure, the US government can help spur economic growth and job creation, incentivize domestic investment, and meet the current and future needs of the American public.”
